Each Tuesday, I am going to post one of Lillie’s photos she has taken for her photography diploma. I’ll not be writing anything, just letting the image speak for itself. I know Lillie would appreciate any feed-back, good or bad, so that she can grow as a photographer. Without further ado, here is her first:

Very nice job of showing reflections and various depth of fields. I think that if the bulb had not obscured one of hers eyes, it would have been even better!

Very pretty. I would like it better if the lights on the left side were not so big and bright, but more like the others. I love the reflection of the small dots of lights in her glasses. I think you did a lovely job of capturing your sister at Christmas. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to these Tuesday posts.

Good bokeh and composition, love the reflection of the lights in her glasses. As Phyllis says above, I think it would be even better if one of the lights wasn’t over her face.

I agree with Phyllis, the bigger bulbs obscuring the one eye is visually distracting, other than that you got the depth and captured the moment perfectly. I especially like the effect with all of the smaller bulbs twinkling away so merrily. The blur of more lights in the background makes it look amazing.
