Making A6 Notebooks

Making A6 Notebooks

I’ve had many attempts at making A6 notebooks. However, not having the right equipment was limiting as I wasn’t able to create the quality I wanted. In comes my incredible mum who gifted Gary and I some money at the end of last year. I spent mine on a long-arm stapler and an industrial sized paper cutter. Now, I already owned these items (apparently) but they weren’t able to cut or staple the number of pages I wanted them to. Also, the paper cutter did not clamp the sheets of paper firmly enough to prevent movement. This meant I was left with a badly cut, uneven note pad.

Making A6 Notebooks Using my Greeting Cards

I came up with the idea of using my greeting cards as the cover for my notebooks as a way of using up unsellable cards. But actually, in and of itself, using greeting cards is a great idea (even if I do say so myself!). It means I don’t have to make any specific covers to print out, and being A6, they are the perfect size as well.
