I was playing about on Canva the other day, trying to make some fun printable designs for my spring inspiration mood board. I’ve not created an inspiration wall for years. The last time, if I remember correctly, was a prayer board. A couple of years ago, I prayed for twelve families or individual people every day for a whole year. I had a mini prayer wall for these people. This was a very practical way to record how I wanted to pray for them, especially if there were specific things I knew they needed prayer for.
However, my spring inspiration mood board was for an entirely different purpose. It is not so much about remembering or recording, more for inspiration. Possibly even as a productivity tool. I like to be productive but I don’t like to be rushed or pressured. An inspiration mood board is very motivating but without the time pressures a goal list or diary entry.
Situation of my Spring Inspiration Mood Board

There are many places in our kookie little cottage where I could place my spring inspiration mood board. Literally, we have two white boards which would be perfect, a few walls which aren’t covered floor to ceiling in books, a couple of walls in our bedroom and a small space in my tiny art studio.
In the end, I settled on the space in my studio. I figured that I spend a lot of my time working in my art studio, so it was here the board would have its greatest effect. You all know that I love me a good long list? Well, this was going to be my visual pictorial list. The benefit of this type of list is that it does not come in a top to bottom line of items. It’s a collage, where one thing is directly linked to another, maybe even many others.
I like that.
And being next to me in my studio will be super motivating!

So What Am I Putting On it?

I made 12 or 13 pages of fun patterned paper and Bible verses, hearts and what-not…kind of all spring (ish) themed. I’ve also been adding things to a spring themed Pinterest Board which I printed a few bits and pieces off. There are some odd things, such as learning how to make a couple of new drinks, snacks or meals. Home-y hygge things, bookish ideas and things to do in spring. Kind of a bucket list without the dying part 😊

I turned the above 12/13 pages into a pdf which will be a free download for subscribers to my Newsletter which will go out later on tonight. If you’d like to sign up for my newsletter follow the link here. I’ll make sure that The download is available in next week’s newsletter, just in case you miss this week’s cut off time.
