I have been meaning to post this for ages. We visited Jane Austen’s house during our staycation. Even the boys enjoyed this day out, although that may have been because we ended the trip at a quaint village restaurant for a huge feed!
So without further ado….

The dining room:
Jane’s bedroom:
A second bedroom, possibly her sisters? (I didn’t make a note of whose it was):
Afterwards we went for a gorgeous meal at the little cafe opposite:
Such lovely, happy memories!
What a lovely day out! I love old houses. They have so many stories to tell.
Blessings, Dawn

Thank you so much for sharing photos, since I will never get there. We love her books 🙂
No problem! 🙂
Well, how cool is that!
🙂
I have a friend who went on a special “Jane Austen” tour for her 40th birthday, and she said it was the most awesome experience ever. I would love to do that someday.
I hope your wish comes true 🙂
