Growing things is not my forte. No, really it’s not. I’m certain that I am capable of killing a plastic plant if it wasn’t already dead. I have a few house plants which I rotate over to my mum for her to bring back to life when they start to look a little dead.
Anyway, all this to say, I am (perhaps a little unwisely) bringing back an old blog series, ‘Clueless with Claire’…basically a gardening series in which absolutely no successful gardening takes place.
This time though, I’m taking on a partner.

This week, between the two of us, we created a cosy reading area in our cottage garden. I know it will become a favourite spot to sit and chat with family, to relax and read a little and warm in the sun. If you want to take a peek into its creation, I made a video!
