I’ve had so much fun eeking out the material from Becca’s old Christmas pyjamas making lots of lovely items. Six Christmas decorations for the tree, a hairband, some heatless curlers and a Christmas garland for the fireplace. All this from just one pair of pjs! Oh, and I filmed it so you too can embellish this Christmas using a pair of pjs!
Christmas Decorations
The first video shows you how to make heart shaped Christmas tree decorations, which I stuffed with some of the scraps I knew I wouldn’t use #usingupallthepyjamas
Heatless Hair Curlers and Headband
Next, I used the same pair of pjs to make some heatless curlers and a headband. I used up the elastic and elastic covering from the waistband and leg cuffs…literally, every single piece of these pjs were used over the course of these three videos! Becca and Lillie helped me out with this video, appearing at the end to demonstrate how to use the heatless curlers. I may have to use them more often given how much more natural they appear in front of the camera compared with me 😊
Apple and Cinnamon Christmas Garland
To use up the last scraps of material, I made some of my yearly apple and cinnamon decorations. Usually they get made into tree decorations or used as room scent by popping them on the radiators around the house. This year, I made a garland:
