This weekend has been crazy, crazy busy with Remembrance Sunday and football matches and a podcast planning day with my older daughters. Both my son and daughter were part of the Remembrance Sunday march. Unfortunately, they were in different towns so we were only able to support one of them (due to Bec’s football match being immediately after). Thomas is always gracious though and understands that for Abs this was a great privilege and her first experience of being part of the flag holding team (there is a name for this, but I can’t remember it and Abs is in bed!). I was surprised by how emotional it was and how proud I was of Abs for being part of the British Army Cadets:

Becs came with Gary, Charlotte and I to watch Abs and be part of the Remembrance Sunday service. We literally had to race from one town to the next town to get to the football match in time. Becs plays for a really lovely under 15’s girls’ football team. At 13, she’s the youngest player, and has only been playing for one year, but the rest of the girls have welcomed her with open arms. She mainly plays in goal, but at least for some of each match she plays out on field. It was so good to see how far she has come in just 12 months. Their team won 5-0 😊

A really, really lovely day 🥰
