Do you remember when the teens did their Around London in 8 Destinations? One of their destinations was the Sherlock Holmes Museum.  I promised I would post the photos and up until now had completely forgotten!  As we are currently looking into the late 19th century, when these books were being created, I thought it might be a nice, if belated, trip down memory lane to see some of the photos of 221b Baker’s Street, Sherlock Holmes’ famous living quarters.
Of course, I have now left it too long to actually remember what each of these photos are of, but they are still a great illustration of how fairly well off middle class Victorians actually lived.

The first set of photos show items under a glass covering meant to represent clues. Â Can you figure which clues belong to which book?
The rest of the rooms were set up as scenes from one of the crimes from the Sherlock Holmes’ novels:
Kind of cool, no?  I do wish I’d made a note of everything though.  My brain doesn’t tend to retain things for a few hours, let alone a few months 😉
