Making Memories

On Sunday the weather was glorious and the coast was beckoning to us; so we all piled into the car and headed to our favourite beach, and made it just in time for a picnic lunch:

  1. I love watching your kids play together, looks like a nice fun day. There are times I really wish the beach was closer, and it wasn’t such a trek to get there….

  2. Such wonderful memories! It’s lovely to see the affections that your children have for one another. I expect we’ll head to the beach at some point when the temperature stabilises.

  3. Hello, the last time I seen the twins they were in wee car seat’s in the back of the car, they have grown so much, I have missed so much to my shame I should add
Your children are a credit to you both such s happy family, tell the kids I said hello and you can explain the scooby thing, God’s richest blessing on all your family and let’s start to stay in touch more ; )

    1. Alright Buddy? It’s been a while. Claire says hi! We definitely need to be better at keeping in touch. Will hopefully be back home at the end of this year to visit. Maybe see you then?

  4. I know where there is a beautful beach and none of those pebbels to struggle over!!! When you coming back? I don’t have any kids to wind me up anymore!!!

    1. Hi David! How are you all? We are coming back for a visit later this year, so if you can organise good weather, we can take advantage of that beautiful (and sandy) beach you mentioned! We look forward to watching you wind up all five of our children- you’ll find they give as good as they get these days!

  5. You are doing amazingly well and should pat yourself on the back 😀 I read your blog thoughts not knowing about the future and if you are doing the right thing etc etc, but putting your faith in God means that you will be inspired at just the right time and school school doesnt necessarily give the right grounding for children, especially if you are able to teach them! I live in Sussex, England by the way and I know what you mean about the fast pace of life here … it’s just too fast, and time goes so fast. We all worry too much about other people’s opinions. At the end of your life, be glad you were strong enough and brave enough to choose what you wanted to do rather than be a sheep. 😀

  6. Aww. I had a few rare extra moments, and found this post. What great memories for all of you. I have told you before, I am not much on flying, but these pictures make me want to give it a go – maybe – one day – possibly. Of course, that would mean a postpone on the renovation schedule…..
Your family looks so happy and everyone seems to really enjoy being together. It is so nice to just leave everything and relax. As with me, someone is missing in the last picture;)
