I’m really enjoying these last visits to the pond. Looking back over the year, especially over the seasonal activities we have done, it is satisfying to have a visual record of the changes that have occurred. This post is a quick photo collage looking back on all four seasons of the Ash tree:
I can confidently say that we would all be able to recognise an Ash tree no matter the season! This has been such a simple study and yet so worth it. I look forward to carrying out another tree study next year, again choosing a tree we have no idea about.
I love seeing the close up of the same branch at the different phases. Seeing the leaves burst out is rather fun.
I’m enjoying watching our nature study come together. The comparisons are particularly interesting.
I love all things nature, so it is a joy to see your nature posts.
Have a wonderful weekend, Angelicscalliwags!
And you Donna!
I love year-round tree studies. It is wonderful seeing the same pictures in different seasons.
I’ve put together a compilation of pictures through the months and it really is fascinating to see the differences.
It’s so lovely to see the comparisons – what a beautiful tree! Do you have your sights on your next tree yet?
Not yet. We’re still in discussions what we want to spend the year on – whether we continue with the pond or move onto doing a back garden nature study for the year.
