Well, I had just covered The Snowy Day in our tot school and preschool, having planned it perfectly to coincide with some snow we were due to get. The plans of mice and men and all that…..the snow didn’t happen but the unit study had to (nothing else planned). So we went ahead without the snow. Of course the very next day after finishing the study it started to snow really rather heavily (insert loooong sigh), and it carried on snowing for the next three days (insert even longer sigh). Oh well it means lots of lovely photos to post of all the children and their daddy out in the snow. They had a ball! Who wants to be stuck indoors learning about snow when you can be out playing in it?

This week was a difficult week. B1 would be a baby who does not like being in any discomfort or pain. When in pain she is a completely different baby compared with other times. She has had her last (thank goodness) two teeth coming through. These have come through once and receded and are now coming through again. She has cried all week:
Nothing has been right and all she has wanted is her mummy. So we’ve had lots of snuggles, cuddles and kisses. This morning she woke with a smile on that gorgeous face of hers and we all breathed a collective sigh of relieve. Peace has returned to our cottage where wailing had previously been and I couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures of her in all her smiling glory. For it is indeed GOOD!
And just because it’s my blog and I can do what I want – is she not absolutely gorgeous?
So happy with my lot in life! Have a wonderful weekend one and all!
Beautiful pictures! Hooray for snow play!! Tonight we are suppose to get enough snow to go sledding, My kids are making snowshoes right now( I don’t think their poster board is gonna do the trick).
I love the princess with the big brother picture, too cute 🙂
Thank you for sharing,
Hello!! I thought you’d gone missing! Thanks for commenting and I hope the snow shoes hold up!
I’ve got a little girl who will fight in a fairy dress too. She’ll beat her brothers also. It’s kinda scary.
It’s so fun seeing her look beautiful and feminine and then hearing her growl like a warrior!!
Oh the highs and lows of our children. B was just trying to tell you she didn’t want to look like a dog!! She is comfortable in her own skin. Lol. Missed your snow angel, where was it?
How could she not want to look like a dog? So, so cute! Snow angel not public property!!
They are all beautiful children!
I know, thank you!!
What fun snow pictures! I hope those teeth will give you all some peace now. My kids would love to see some snow this winter, but I don’t think they will! It’s been in the 70’s where we live. 🙂
Wow! We don’t see snow that often, maybe a week every year, but we do love it!
What beautiful children and great fun in the snow!
We get snow so infrequently that it is so exciting when we do, we go a bit mad!
