This week Becca turned 10 and in honour of her birthday and as a fun activity to celebrate the end of our Edwardian study we held a Titanic Murder Mystery Party. It was so much fun, taking on different characters and trying to work out who the murderer was (me, as it happened).
We bought Becca an outfit for her birthday. She was to be an 18 year old travelling in first class.

Her sister had already done her make up before she opened the presents. Here she is, in character and in all her birthday gifts:
Titanic Murder Mystery Party: Set Up
Set up was really simple with Titanic themed everything. We had invitations to the captain’s table, a menu and a first class boarding pass. Even the wine bottles were themed!

And all the characters:

And here are a few photos from our night:

So much fun!
Wow! Wow! WoW! I may have to steal this idea. Where did you get all the themed labels and such. I love it. You are so creative. It amazes me all the time what fun you get up too.
Blessings, Dawn
Hi Dawn, It really was a great night! I got all the printables and the game from printablemysterygames.com. They do a variety of games for different ages. We chose the Titanic one because we were studying it. However, just as a warning – it is designed for aged 16 and above and certainly has older themes running through the game – we just altered the meaning a little to make it a little less adult for my younger girls, and there was one piece of evidence we did not allow them to look at. Instead I described it in ten and twelve year old language. This was the reason I did not officially link to the company in the actual post. Apart from that (and it was arguably our fault for choosing a 16 plus game!) it was a fabulous night! Xx
Oh, happy late birthday, Becca. You are growing into a beautiful young lady. I see so much of your mum in your face. Looks like a great time was had by all. As always Claire, you do it up right!
Becca says thank you very much!
Aww. You are welcome, Becca!
