In celebration of finishing our Astronomy Unit Study, Gary and I took the girls to the Science Museum in London. We had such a great time, even though the place was heaving with visiting school children. We visited the space exploration department, as well as paying to see a 3D re-enactment of Apollo’s landing on the moon. This was so cool! Our chairs moved and everything! We experienced what it would have felt like to land on the moon, travel on the rover and be propelled back to earth…it was well worth the £4 we had to pay to go. Anyway, here are some photos. We didn’t manage to get many because for starters it was really dark, and secondly it was really busy.

It was such a lovely day, and on the train, all the way home, the girls kept thanking us for taking them. I see a good night sleep ahead for all of us!
