Whoops, I forgot to post yesterday! Not that I’d done badly, I just was having date night with Gary and Blogmas completely escaped my mind!

All About Organisation

Yesterday was a slightly odd day both food and exercise wise. My big goal for the day was to go through our whole bedroom and reorganise and declutter. You all know I’m not the tidiest or most organised of people (ehem) so this was quite a big job.

It took waaaaay longer than I thought it would as I emptied drawers and my wardrobe (Gary had done his the week before). In fact, I haven’t quite finished as I still have three drawers unexplored. A job for another day. In the future. Way in the future.

I got rid of three bin bags of either rubbish, recycling or charity shop stuff and I can now fit all my clothes in my wardrobe as well as all my shoes at the bottom. Whoop whoop! Yay me!

Date Night

This job kept me on my toes for the major part of the day. As Gary was outside, going through his shed, he was also on his feet for most of the day. We had a choice. To go to the gym after he’d returned from Becca’s football or have a date night with a takeaway…hmmmm gym or date night? Well, we took less than a second to choose a date night!

All this to say, I did not do well with exercise yesterday.

I also didn’t do brilliantly food wise. I try to avoid white bread but it was all we had in the house. So I ate a cheese toast for breakfast and a ham sandwich for lunch. To make up for the significant lack of vegetables, I ordered Singapore vegetables and plain rice at the Chinese – a low calorie option and making sure I had my five a day. I finished off with a Turkish Delight and called it a day. Not terrible, but probably my worst all week.
