Precious Moments

Oh my goodness!  What a week.  It started off with one young member of our family being burgled at knife point.  We spent the beginning of the week giving police statements until the early hours of the morning, and the rest of the week reacting to the whole situation.  No-one was hurt, but it has made us rethink a lot of the freedom we give the children.  Suddenly the area in which we live does not feel quite as safe as it always has.  Even though the man in question was caught, charged and is currently in custody, it has shaken us all.  Needless to say we have done very little this week, bar trying to come to terms with what happened.  So there is no precious moments post today.

  1. Oh, Claire. I am so sorry to hear this. Praise the Lord for His protection! We will be praying for you all. Hugs to you, my friend.

  2. I am so sorry Claire! What a terrible thing to happen! We are praying for healing and thank goodness no one was physically hurt.
    Blessings, Dawn

  3. I am so sorry your family was violated. That happened to one of my children and 21 years later we still talk of it. We had to change our rules and not let anyone go off by themselves and it has reverberated down to the grandkids and keeping them safe. It’s a sad reality that evil exits. I’m grateful you are all ok physically.

  4. So sorry to hear about that Claire, and praying for God’s perfect peace and strength for you all, x.
