And my last interview with my littlest.

How have you felt about this year?

Really good because I love doing school with my Mummy, and my Granny

What have you learnt about yourself this year?

I don’t really know

What are you most proud of this year?

Loads of things….my art, especially my art with L13, my writing, but not especially my reading.

What are you least proud of this year?

I’m not really happy with my reading because I am running out of books (!) and I don’t really know the words anymore

What have you enjoyed the most?

Doing art with Mummy; making jewellery with L but I don’t make much jewellery; cooking with Mummy; playing in the garden with my sister; ‘specially really glad to make food with Mummy

What have you enjoyed the least?

Colouring in when I can’t keep in the lines

What would you like to change?

Ooooh, that’s going to be hard.  I’d like to do more art, I really, really want to do more cooking with Mummy and lots of snuggling with Mummy.  I always like snuggling with Mummy.

Do you feel like you have complete autonomy over your learning?

I don’t know what automeny is!

Okay, do you feel like you control your day?

You control my day but I like you controlling my day.

What are you looking forward to next year?

My birthday and I’d like loads of presents please.  I would like more friends to come over to my house.  And I love God in my heart.

So there you go.  Five interviews from five very different children.  I hope you enjoyed them.

  1. Oh my goodness, that last answer melted me! All your children’s personalities just shine through these interviews 🙂 Please will you do one for you and Gary?

  2. Hello, Claire. We’ve been away on vacation, and I’ve been reading along with each post. I’ll just comment here for all. I have loved reading the interviews with the children. They seem so mature in their responses. Even A. I love that they love homeschooling. You have been such a great teacher for them in inspiring a love of learning and also growing their independence. You are to be commended. I must say, B’s interview touched my heart. She loves God with all her heart. What more could you want. I am looking forward to seeing how your homeschool continues to grow and change. Hugs to you.:))
